Personal Care Assistant – Caregiver

About the role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team and provide hands‑on personal care to residents in assisted‑living and memory‑care settings. You will play a vital part in enhancing quality of life for seniors by supporting daily activities and fostering meaningful connections.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), document any changes, and report observations to care leaders.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
• Engage residents in conversation, recreational activities, and memory‑care programs.
• Support dining services, help with meals, and ensure proper nutrition.
• Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and multidisciplinary team members.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18 or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Compassionate, reliable, and strong communication abilities.
