Payments Operational Risk Management – Senior Associate (Argentina & Chile)

About the role

The Senior Associate in Payments Operational Risk Management will provide second‑line oversight for payments across Argentina and Chile, supporting the broader Operational Risk Management function and collaborating with legal, finance, audit and other control teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight, guidance and review of ORM initiatives for payments in Argentina and Chile.
• Support regulatory reviews, audits, examinations and respond to inquiries.
• Conduct operational risk assessments using the CCOR framework and align policies with local regulations.
• Assist with risk appetite definition, risk identification and horizontal risk oversight (resiliency, outsourcing, data risk).

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a risk‑related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in payments or risk management.
• Strong analytical, project‑management and influencing skills; ability to work independently in a matrix environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Experience with data‑analytics and workflow‑automation tools such as Tableau and Alteryx.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and Copilot for enhancing efficiency and insight generation.
