Oracle APEX Project Lead

About the role

As an Oracle APEX Project Lead you will drive the architecture, delivery, modernization, and support of secure, scalable Oracle APEX solutions for Life Sciences business functions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, scientists, and technical teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise Oracle APEX applications.
• Establish solution standards, reusable frameworks, engineering best practices, and code quality controls.
• Design and optimize Oracle Database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Drive integration initiatives using ORDS, REST APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Oversee application security, performance tuning, release management, and production support.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, technical risk assessments, and deployment readiness activities.
• Mentor developers, support project planning, estimations, and successful delivery execution.

Required profile

• 15+ years of IT/software engineering experience, with extensive hands‑on Oracle APEX development.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database architecture.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in regulated Life Sciences environments is a plus.
