Oracle APEX Lead / Solution Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Lead / Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise applications built on the Oracle APEX platform. The role will define solution architecture, establish engineering standards, and ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and high‑quality business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle APEX applications, defining standards, reusable components, and coding guidelines.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, create solution architectures, integration designs, deployment models, and technical roadmaps.
• Conduct design, code, performance, and security reviews to ensure solution quality and drive modernization initiatives.
• Develop and support Oracle APEX applications, design Oracle database solutions, and implement integrations using RESTful services, APIs, ORDS, and JSON.
• Support project planning, effort estimation, release readiness, deployment, and post‑production support while monitoring application health.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, infrastructure, and security teams, leading technical discussions and mentoring developers.
• Design solutions that meet data integrity, security, auditability, and regulatory compliance requirements for regulated environments.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise applications, or solution architecture.
• Proven experience leading solution architecture and technical delivery for large‑scale initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience leading geographically distributed teams.
• Experience in Life Sciences or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
