Onboarding Coordinator

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support the seamless integration of new hires across the United States and Canada. You will act as the primary liaison between new employees, recruiters, HR, and payroll, ensuring all onboarding steps are completed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of onboarding for project‑based employees.
• Set up hire profiles in the HRIS system and request required documentation.
• Own the end‑to‑end onboarding process, coordinating with hires and managers to prepare for project start dates.
• Respond to employee queries about onboarding, timecards, policies, and payroll.
• Process unemployment claims, employee verification requests, and regular off‑boarding.
• Review and adjust employee timecards, and communicate paid sick‑leave policies.
• Prepare reports for payroll processing, including new‑hire, termination, and hours reports.
• Handle a large volume of email, phone, and messaging inquiries while providing general HR support.

Required profile

• Administrative experience, preferably in an HR or recruitment function.
• High accuracy, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate with global teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
