Occitan Language Specialist – AI Trainer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a fluent Occitan language specialist to help train large‑scale AI models. Working remotely, you will use cutting‑edge AI tools to evaluate and improve the quality of Occitan text generated by the system, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and correct Occitan content for AI training datasets.
• Assess AI‑generated outputs for grammatical accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness.
• Identify recurring error patterns and document them for model improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers and linguists to refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines.
• Provide detailed feedback on syntax, semantics, style, and contextual usage.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in Occitan.
• Professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, or a related field.
• Strong cultural knowledge of Occitan‑speaking regions.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear written communication skills.
