Node.js Developer – Mortgage Industry Expertise

About the role

Fetchly is looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join its remote team and build innovative financial‑technology solutions for the mortgage sector. You will work on scalable backend services that power web and mobile applications used by lenders and borrowers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Node.js applications tailored to mortgage workflows.
• Create and document RESTful APIs for front‑end consumption and third‑party integrations.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers and QA engineers to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality software.
• Optimize SQL database queries and ensure data integrity and performance.
• Deploy, monitor and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Stay informed about mortgage industry regulations and trends to align development work.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL databases and query optimization.
• Experience deploying applications using AWS services.
• Solid knowledge of mortgage industry workflows and compliance requirements.
