Network Smart Hands Engineer (Onsite)

About the role

The Network Smart Hands Engineer provides on‑site technical support for a range of hardware and network devices. Working directly at customer sites, you will assist both end‑users and remote technical teams to keep infrastructure running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Smart Hands support for desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals, cabling, projectors, telephones and security devices.
• Perform hardware installation, replacement, troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
• Support data‑center operations and assist with application infrastructure tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve basic network issues involving switches, routers and firewalls under remote guidance.
• Configure routers and switches as instructed by the remote technical team.
• Maintain awareness of backup, tape and Microsoft Exchange infrastructure.
• Document work accurately and submit clear service reports.
• Coordinate with remote technical teams and customer stakeholders while following defined processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in IT hardware support or data‑center environments.
• Fluent in the local language of the deployment country and able to communicate in English with remote teams.
• Completion of the mandatory 1‑hour Nutanix Hardware Replacement Training with a minimum 90% score.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
