Modern Device Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Modern Device Management Specialist to design, implement and optimise SCCM and Intune environments for large‑scale enterprises. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, automation and reporting across the device management stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise SCCM architecture and hierarchy for large‑scale environments.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of SCCM and Intune issues, including client/server communication, software distribution, patch management and compliance settings.
• Manage SCCM site servers, site roles and overall health of the infrastructure.
• Develop and automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Create custom SQL queries, reports and maintain the SCCM database.
• Build Power BI dashboards to visualise SCCM/Intune metrics for stakeholders.
• Configure and support Cloud Management Gateway (CMG) and SCCM co‑management with Intune.
• Provide L2 support for Intune device enrolment, application deployment and profile configuration.
• Offer L1 guidance for Microsoft Entra Application Proxy and monitor its health.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on SCCM/Intune administration in a large enterprise.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication, documentation and mentorship abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and guide junior team members.

Required skills

• SCCM architecture, hierarchy and component management.
• Microsoft Intune (L2) device and application management.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• SQL Server for queries, custom reports and database maintenance.
• Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
• Basic (L1) knowledge of Microsoft Entra Application Proxy.
