MLOps Engineer

About the role

Promtior is seeking an MLOps Engineer to serve as the senior technical reference for ML and AI infrastructure. You will work embedded with a global fintech client, shaping how models and AI components are trained, deployed, monitored, and run in production.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the end‑to‑end ML platform architecture, including data, training, model registry, serving, monitoring and governance.
• Establish reproducible training pipelines, experiment tracking, model packaging, versioning and promotion flows from development to production.
• Implement safe rollout strategies such as canary, shadow deployments and rollbacks for online and batch inference.
• Partner with product squads to set SLAs/SLOs, logging, metrics, alerting and on‑call readiness.
• Automate MLOps tasks using AI agents: feature‑store operations, training pipelines, promotion gates, runbook generation and cost‑optimization recommendations.
• Define technical standards for data access control, PII handling, auditability and environment separation in collaboration with InfoSec.
• Mentor MLOps and Data/ML engineers and lead architecture reviews.

Required profile

• Solid experience designing or owning MLOps platforms used by multiple teams.
• Hands‑on experience with production ML workloads on Databricks, including Feature Store (Unity Catalog) and MLflow.
• Experience building production‑grade pipelines: experiment tracking, CI/CD for models and data, and scalable online/batch inference.
• Strong background in distributed systems and stream processing (Spark, Flink or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud ML platforms (SageMaker, Vertex AI) and container‑based deployments.
