Mid-Level Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript) – Relocate to Spain

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Front‑end Developer to create a brand‑new React application from the ground up. The role focuses on delivering a clean, reactive user interface that consumes data from backend APIs, with the codebase later handed over internally.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure a React + TypeScript project from scratch.
• Develop and integrate UI components with RESTful backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑structured code following modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Implement unit tests using Jest or a similar framework.
• Organise the project for scalability and readability.
• Deliver features independently based on user stories and technical direction.
• Communicate progress transparently and understand the rationale behind design decisions.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Ability to initialise and structure a frontend project without existing scaffolding.
• Good understanding of reactive UI development and frequent data updates.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and modern CSS techniques.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Mindset focused on clean, readable code over clever tricks.
