Medical Documentation Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are a forward‑thinking health and wellness company seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Documentation Specialist to work remotely from Argentina. You will support clinical documentation, patient record management, and administrative operations for a fast‑paced wellness brand.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately document patient encounters and clinical interactions.
• Maintain and organize detailed patient medical records and documentation workflows.
• Support healthcare providers with clinical documentation tasks, verifying accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure data security and strict adherence to HIPAA compliance standards.
• Assist with coding and billing‑related documentation.
• Support quality‑assurance and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with internal clinical and administrative teams.

Required profile

• Pharmacist degree, physician background, or equivalent medical training (Sto Thomas University graduates are automatically considered).
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare or medical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical products.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Familiarity with Practice Fusion or similar EHR platforms.
• Knowledge of ICD‑10 coding.
• Knowledge of CPT coding.
