Mechatronics Technician

About the role

The Mechatronics Technician will join ROSEN Group in Buenos Aires, handling electronic and mechanical assembly, testing, and repair of equipment used in oil & gas and pipeline integrity services. The role ensures all work complies with ROSEN quality and safety standards while supporting field personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble mechanical and electronic equipment according to drawings, parts lists, and manuals.
• Perform visual inspections and set tool parameters for assemblies.
• Repair or rework equipment following detailed instructions.
• Verify completeness and correct function of assembled units.
• Document assemblies in ROSEN software databases and generate test reports.
• Support site personnel and provide technical expertise during field operations.
• Identify and propose process optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electronic maintenance, testing, troubleshooting or field operations in an industrial environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with experience in root‑cause investigations and failure analysis.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel, work flexible hours and overtime when required.
• B2 level English proficiency.
