Manager, Clinical Site Contracts and Budgets

About the role

The Manager, Clinical Site Contracts and Budgets will lead the drafting, negotiation and implementation of global investigative site budgets and contracts for assigned clinical studies. You will ensure timely, compliant delivery of site clinical trial agreements while building strong relationships with investigative sites.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the site contracts and budgets lead across assigned studies, guaranteeing high‑quality, compliant execution of budget and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with study‑team stakeholders from early planning through the contract lifecycle to align operational objectives.
• Prioritize and drive progress on site contracts within the clinical trial working group.
• Develop and oversee budget setup using industry tools and data sources, applying standardized processes across studies.
• Manage site‑contracting issues efficiently according to escalation pathways.
• Coordinate study start‑up activities such as Site Initiation Visits (SIV) and maintain accurate system trackers for budgets and contracts.
• Handle all changes to study scope, ensuring timely implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts and budgets, preferably within clinical research.
• Proven ability to lead contract negotiations and budget set‑up for multiple studies.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external investigative sites.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and quality.
