Mainframe SCM Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Mainframe SCM Infrastructure Engineer will own and operate the CA-Endevor platform across development, test and production environments, driving automation, governance and reliability for mainframe software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure CA-Endevor, including tasks, repository connectivity, SMP/E maintenance, upgrades and currency management.
• Engineer the Endevor inventory model aligned to SDLC, release governance and separation of duties.
• Develop and maintain automation interfaces using Endevor APIs/CLI, Python wrappers and REXX utilities.
• Implement and support Jenkins pipeline‑as‑code that invokes Endevor, enforces quality gates and manages credentials securely.
• Define and enforce security controls (RACF/ACF2/TSS, Endevor ACLs) and monitor operational health, performance and backup/DR procedures.

Required profile

• Strong experience with mainframe environments (z/OS, DB2, CICS, IMS).
• Proven ability to design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mainframe applications.
