Logistics and Distribution Analyst

About the role

AbbVie is hiring a Logistics and Distribution Analyst in Buenos Aires on a full-time basis. The role supports the D&L Finance Plan for the Region South, contributes to sustainable margin improvements and ensures the successful implementation of distribution and logistics initiatives, working closely with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).

Key responsibilities

• Study, analyze and propose process improvements across supply chain, customer service, D&L and 3PL to increase agility and efficiency.
• Work with 3PLs on cycle counting, weekly inventory control comparing SAP and WMS, and on reducing damaged, blocked or expired material.
• Support annual W2W inventory activities with 3PLs and maintain robust standard operating procedures.
• Act as performance owner for 3PLs in the region, tracking SLAs, KPIs and assessments, and supporting monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with customer service to support commercial execution and partner with internal and external stakeholders on service metrics.
• Take part in D&L governance meetings and monthly 3PL meetings, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Control logistics systems and parameters, and work with Global and Regional COE staff on process changes and projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or advanced student (Logistics/Industrial Engineer).
• Logistics/distribution experience preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and customer service skills, with good follow-up and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• PC applications such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Intermediate to advanced Power BI (preferred).
• SAP ERP (logistics) or a common warehouse management system (WMS) (preferred).
