Login Technician – Sample Receiving & LIMS Operations

About the role

Certified Group is seeking a Login Technician to join its Food Safety Net Services (FSNS) team. In this position you will receive, prepare, and manage customer samples, ensuring all protocols are followed and customers are kept informed of any issues.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and set‑up samples for analysis.
• Enter data, select analyses, and log/approve samples using a LIMS database on a Windows workstation.
• Maintain correct sample temperatures and segregate samples according to FSNS procedures.
• Assist with shipping of customer supplies, including return coolers.
• Communicate with clients for order clarification and provide timely updates.
• Uphold laboratory conditions, equipment, supplies, and quality‑assurance records.
• Perform all activities safely, hygienically, and efficiently.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of testing laboratory concepts and practices.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Required skills

• LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) operation.
• Proficiency with Windows computer workstations.
