Legal Assistant / Case Manager (Remote – Argentina)

About the role

The Ledger Law Firm is looking for a motivated Legal Assistant / Case Manager to support its U.S.-based personal injury practice from Argentina. Working remotely, you will help attorneys manage case files, communicate with clients and third‑party providers, and ensure timely progress of injury claims.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients about case status, treatment updates and documentation.
• Open, organize and maintain personal injury case files.
• Request and follow up on medical records, billing, police reports, insurance information and other essential documents.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, lienholders and other third parties.
• Track client medical treatment and keep clients engaged throughout the process.
• Provide pre‑litigation and litigation support to attorneys and senior case managers.
• Draft, review and organize correspondence, case summaries and internal notes.
• Maintain accurate case management records and update files consistently.
• Identify potential issues early and escalate urgent matters to senior staff.

Required profile

• Resident of Argentina.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level preferred).
• Law degree, legal studies background or prior legal experience.
• Familiarity with U.S. personal injury law, insurance claims or medical records is a strong plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a remote setting.
