Junior Service Desk Specialist

About the role

Kapsch, a leading global technology company in intelligent transportation, is seeking a Junior Service Desk Specialist to join its worldwide support team. You will provide first‑level technical assistance to both internal and external users, ensuring incidents are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st‑level technical support and remote assistance to end users.
• Log, track, and manage incidents using ITSM tools with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Monitor IT infrastructure for stability and performance.
• Configure applications and support testing activities for smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve issue resolution processes.

Required profile

• Understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN) and overall IT infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with PC hardware components and diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and MS Office tools.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 support model with rotating shifts.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong learning agility.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish and English.
