Junior SEO Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior SEO Specialist to join our fully remote team supporting a fast‑growing advertising agency. You will work under senior SEO professionals, executing established local SEO strategies and gaining hands‑on experience with a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Implement local SEO tactics for multiple clients, including Google Business Profile (GBP) management and posting.
• Execute quarterly local keyword strategies, monitor rankings, and identify visibility opportunities.
• Perform on‑page SEO improvements on WordPress sites using AIO SEO or similar plugins (metadata, internal linking, schema, page speed).
• Create, format, and optimize SEO‑focused blog articles and refresh existing content.
• Manage local listings via Yext and HighLevel, ensuring NAP consistency and handling review responses.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis with Ahrefs, Nightwatch, and related tools.
• Track performance metrics, assist with reporting, and share insights with senior team members.
• Organize daily tasks in Asana and collaborate with developers, writers, and account managers.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong understanding of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Experience with keyword research, competitor analysis, and on‑page SEO on WordPress.
