Junior Operations Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Operations Engineer to support our fast‑growing solar energy client. This remote, full‑time position bridges field execution, technical troubleshooting, and customer interaction, ensuring smooth installations and high‑quality service for homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist installation crews, electricians, and field technicians with technical and operational questions.
• Act as the first point of contact to resolve homeowner and field issues quickly, both on‑site and remotely.
• Troubleshoot operational and technical problems, documenting findings and solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers to provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns.
• Collaborate with project managers and coordinators to keep workflows on track.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Support training and onboarding of field personnel by sharing best practices.
• Maintain accurate operational reporting and documentation.

Required profile

• 0–5 years of experience in operations, customer support, technical support, field service, or related roles; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Natural leadership instinct and ability to take initiative.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Calm under pressure with solid decision‑making abilities.
• Eagerness to learn quickly and grow into a management role.
