Junior Mechanical CAD Designer – Remote (PST)

About the role

ENG is seeking a Junior Mechanical CAD Designer to support the creation and maintenance of accurate mechanical drawings and design documentation. This remote position works within a collaborative engineering environment, handling projects that span multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and revise mechanical drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD.
• Interpret engineering mark‑ups, specifications, and project requirements to deliver precise deliverables.
• Create and interpret mechanical layouts and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure drawing consistency and project quality.
• Organise files, revisions, and documentation according to project standards and deadlines.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting or CAD design.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, layouts, and design documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.

• SolidWorks (knowledge).
• AutoCAD Plant 3D (knowledge).
• Mechanical drafting and creation of P&IDs.
