Junior Database Administrator – Uruguay

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Uruguay. In this role you will help ensure our database environment runs smoothly, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and longer‑term projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain database availability and performance at all times.
• Work with database software to store, organize, and manage data.
• Conduct feasibility studies, capacity planning, installation, and implementation activities.
• Design, configure, and develop database models.
• Migrate data from legacy platforms and implement backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Manage database access, security procedures, and user requirements.
• Test and modify databases to ensure reliability.
• Write documentation, operating manuals, and reports.
• Provide user training, support, and feedback.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in DBA or related roles.
• Knowledge of SQL Server.
• Preferably located in Uruguay.
