Junior Analyst – Business Development & Analytics

About the role

Join Sony Music Publishing’s Business Development team supporting Latin America and US Latin markets. You will assist in financial evaluation, market intelligence, and building analytical tools to guide investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update financial models for new business opportunities.
• Collect, validate and organize financial, repertoire and consumption data for investment analysis.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to track digital consumption trends, including Spotify Top 100 Chart Share.
• Maintain databases, analytical tools and reports that support decision‑making.
• Monitor financial performance of investments by comparing actual results to projections.
• Support budget monitoring and periodic reporting for regional management.

Required profile

• Advanced‑level student or graduate in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, corporate finance or business analytics.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI.
• Knowledge of Tableau, SQL or Python (considered a plus).
