IT Support Technician I – Buenos Aires

About the role

Interlaced, a cloud‑focused IT services provider, is looking for a contracted IT Support Technician I to join its Buenos Aires team. You will support a diverse portfolio of innovative clients, handling both reactive tickets and proactive maintenance while ensuring service level agreements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate availability to IT Support Associates and proactively schedule client responsibilities.
• Resolve tickets independently, escalating to a Technician II only when necessary.
• Act as gatekeeper for key contact approval and verification processes.
• Handle reactive support tickets to resolution and perform proactive maintenance during downtime.
• Monitor performance metrics on the Brightgauge dashboard (SLA, resolution time, stale tickets).
• Develop knowledge of internal systems, client technologies, and service plans.
• Assist on assigned project tasks under supervision and complete required training.
• Provide training to new IT Support Associates and Interlaced employees.

Required profile

• Efficient problem‑solver with strong technical aptitude.
• Up‑to‑date with current technology trends and able to adopt new techniques quickly.
• Personable and capable of interacting with all client levels, from front‑desk staff to CEOs.
• Able to simplify complex technical solutions for end‑users.
• Minimum 1 + year experience in IT, preferably in help‑desk or customer support roles.
