IT Support Engineer

About the role

Evolution Latvia is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join its dynamic team in Riga. You will provide first‑ and second‑line support to internal users and contractors, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT equipment and services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, workstations, printers, mobile devices and other office equipment.
• Administer and update Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems on user devices.
• Manage user accounts and access in Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365.
• Perform physical network tasks such as patching, device installation, port assignment and cabling.
• Install and maintain server and network equipment, including cable patching in data centres and server rooms.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, assign equipment to users, audit stock and handle decommissioning.
• Collaborate with facility and security teams to resolve security‑related issues.
• Continuously improve the local IT infrastructure and support processes.

Required profile

• Experience providing first‑ and second‑line IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux desktop operating systems.
• Familiarity with identity and access management tools such as Okta, AD, Azure AD and Office 365.
• Hands‑on experience with physical networking, cabling and server equipment maintenance.
• Ability to manage IT asset inventory and follow internal procedures.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work closely with facility and security teams.
