IT Operations & Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Operations & Support Engineer will join the Technology team to provide global end‑user technology support, maintain server infrastructure and assist with security operations. This position offers exposure to senior managers and a chance to work with experienced investment professionals worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for end‑users globally, ensuring systems are secure, compliant and reliable.
• Manage identity and access via Active Directory, Entra ID and role‑based access controls, enforce least‑privilege policies and conduct periodic access reviews.
• Perform regular maintenance, vulnerability remediation and security updates for operating systems and third‑party applications.
• Monitor critical infrastructure, security alerts, endpoint health and system logs; report, remediate or escalate incidents as needed.
• Assist in security incident response, including triage, containment, escalation and documentation.
• Administer servers with a focus on secure configurations, hardening and baseline compliance.
• Support endpoint security, policy enforcement and investigation of suspicious activity.
• Handle email security and phishing response, including user‑reported incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams on audits, infrastructure assessments and documentation of procedures and runbooks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or a security‑adjacent role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Extensive troubleshooting experience on Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience working directly with end users in both local and remote environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012 onward) and Active Directory, including Group Policy.
