About the role

Join Alignerr as a Software Engineer focused on AI Training. You will write, debug, and improve code while evaluating AI‑generated solutions, helping shape the next generation of coding assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimise code across multiple languages and frameworks.
• Review AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability and best practices.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide detailed, structured feedback explaining why code works or fails.
• Design challenging prompts and edge‑case scenarios to stress‑test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank multiple AI‑generated solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently on a flexible schedule, coordinating asynchronously.

Required profile

• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving and systematic debugging skills.
• Clear written communication able to explain technical decisions in plain language.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
