Industrial Process Engineer

About the role

This position supports the deployment and implementation of AI‑powered industrial software across manufacturing sites in the Americas. It is a highly customer‑facing role that bridges plant operations, automation, and technical delivery teams to ensure successful software roll‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Execute on‑site implementation, commissioning, testing and start‑up activities at customer plants.
• Validate industrial connectivity, communications, signals and data availability required for software deployment.
• Support configuration reviews, operational validation and implementation of optimization solutions.
• Act as technical liaison between plant operations and internal Engineering, Data Science and Project Delivery teams.
• Gather operational requirements, identify technical constraints and translate them into actionable implementation plans.
• Coordinate functional and technical testing with automation, maintenance, IT/OT and engineering teams.
• Document progress, configuration changes, technical issues and project milestones.
• Collect operational data, logs and feedback to support troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage risks and ensure successful delivery.
• Provide customer training during rollout and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in Industrial, Automation, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience delivering industrial technology, automation, commissioning, start‑up or implementation projects in manufacturing environments.
• Hands‑on experience working directly on industrial plant sites throughout project implementation phases.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, instrumentation, SCADA, historians, OPC and IT/OT environments.
