Hybrid Business Analyst / Power BI Developer

About the role

PSI CRO, a global company founded in 1995 with more than 2,800 people working on the frontline of medical science, is looking for a Hybrid Business Analyst / Database and Power BI Developer to join its Process Improvement team. The role combines business analyst and developer responsibilities: turning business needs into technical solutions and designing and building data structures and reporting assets. Only CVs in English will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements with stakeholders and turn them into technical specifications
• Design data solutions including database structures, views and data models, and contribute to project plans
• Build and maintain database objects (tables, views, stored procedures) and write optimized SQL queries
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews) and act as a bridge between business and technical teams
• Support testing and UAT, helping distinguish defects from expected behavior
• Coordinate releases and validate that deployments work as expected

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a database development role (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Ability to analyze complex business problems and document requirements, processes and workflows
• Stakeholder management and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively
