Human Resources Specialist

About the role

AVI‑SPL is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to manage the full employee lifecycle for its operations in Mexico and South America. Reporting to the Regional Human Resources Manager, you will ensure smooth onboarding, staff movement, and off‑boarding while supporting regional HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day HR operations across Mexico and South America, aligning regional processes with global standards.
• Administer compensation and benefits, onboarding/off‑boarding procedures, staff transfers, and employee engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Generate and analyse HR reports on key metrics to inform business decisions.
• Assist with payroll processing, tax filing, retirement fund administration, and leave management.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR forms, procedures, and policies.
• Track and manage the Employee Bonus Referral Program.
• Undertake additional projects and tasks as priorities evolve.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Self‑starter with high energy and a collaborative mindset.
