Housekeeping Supervisor – Hospitality Operations

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of housekeeping across accommodation, pool, public, crew and other designated areas. Reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager, the role ensures standards of cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all housekeeping functions for assigned areas, including accommodation, pool, public and crew zones.
• Support the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager in achieving division objectives.
• Maintain operational standards, safety procedures and chemical handling protocols.
• Lead, coach and supervise a team of at least ten housekeeping staff.
• Ensure exceptional guest and team satisfaction through high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a large 4‑ or 5‑star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line or comparable hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise a team of ten or more employees.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, chemical safety, PPE use and job safety analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience using hospitality software such as SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia and Kronos.
• Working knowledge of computers and internet navigation.
