Health & Safety Associate

About the role

Deel is seeking a resilient and autonomous Health & Safety Associate to build and own occupational health and safety frameworks across the Americas. This is a hands‑on role that will shape safety processes for new country launches and high‑risk deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve compliant Health & Safety frameworks for the Americas.
• Lead the health and safety aspects of new country launches, ensuring rapid and safe roll‑outs.
• Oversee regional H&S vendors, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed safety into product, operations and employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in fast‑growing, multi‑country environments.
• Strong autonomy, problem‑solving mindset and ability to thrive in a hyper‑growth setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
