Head of Growth (Paid Acquisition)

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Head of Growth to own paid customer acquisition for a portfolio of youth and adult sports brands across the Greater Toronto Area and South Florida. You will manage a growing media budget, set acquisition strategy, and directly run campaigns on Google, Meta and emerging platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild the paid media program from the ground up on Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube and Meta Advantage+.
• Test and scale additional channels such as TikTok.
• Implement a robust measurement foundation including server‑side tracking, CAPI, offline conversion imports and deduplication against a 20‑30K family database.
• Hands‑on media buying: build, launch, optimize and terminate campaigns.
• Direct creative production, manage on‑camera talent and video editors, and run weekly creative tests.
• Transition the incumbent agency within 60 days and develop monthly budget plans aligned with seasonal calendars.
• Report weekly on a single‑page scorecard covering new‑customer CPA, CPA‑contribution ratio, creative velocity and spend pacing.
• Design a scaling architecture to $1.4 M without CPA degradation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on paid acquisition experience, with at least 2 years managing $500K+ annual budgets on Google and Meta.
• Demonstrated ownership of CPA/CAC metrics with concrete results.
• Experience in local‑services, multi‑location, e‑commerce or registration‑based businesses.
• Comfort leading a small distributed team (e.g., LatAm editor, GTA on‑camera talent).
• Spanish fluency is a plus.
