Guest Services Officer

About the role

Join Royal Caribbean International as a Guest Services Officer and be the first friendly face guests encounter aboard our cruise ships. You will deliver exceptional service, handle guest inquiries, and ensure smooth financial transactions at the Guest Services desk.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a sincere welcome and a clear, positive speaking voice.
• Provide cash and guest account services, including cash payments, check cashing, and foreign currency exchange.
• Resolve guest issues efficiently, delivering the "Wow" experience at all times.
• Operate basic office equipment such as telephones, computers, and copy machines.
• Participate in emergency life‑saving drills and required training.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer‑contact role within the hotel, cruise, or related industry.
• At least one year of cash‑handling experience with knowledge of US currency and exchange rates.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to listen actively and respond professionally.
• Clear, distinct English communication; additional language proficiency required (French, Italian, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Portuguese, or Dutch).
• Eligibility to obtain a C1/D visa and meet all physical requirements for shipboard duties.
