About the role

As a Greenlight Specialist, you are the face of Uber for drivers and earners, helping them get on the road and succeed on the platform. Working from an in‑person Greenlight hub, you bridge the digital experience with real‑world support, handling high‑volume, face‑to‑face interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist drivers, riders, couriers and merchants during critical moments, turning uncertainty into clarity.
• Guide new partners through the onboarding process, communicating the value of Uber and ensuring a smooth sign‑up.
• Make fast, thoughtful decisions to resolve front‑facing issues, ensuring each person leaves with a clear path forward.
• Communicate professionally in emotionally charged situations, maintaining empathy and calm.
• Identify recurring issues, escalating technical or procedural blockers to management.
• Collaborate with teammates on local events and promotions, acting as a brand ambassador.

Required profile

• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer‑service environments with high‑volume, face‑to‑face interactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex processes clearly.
• Ability to work from the designated Greenlight location with punctuality.
• Proven calmness and empathy in high‑pressure, emotionally charged situations.
• Conflict‑resolution abilities and comfort speaking to diverse groups.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new technical tools quickly.
