GL Team Lead II

About the role

As a Greenlight Team Lead at Uber, you will head a high‑stakes logistics and support hub where digital and physical operations intersect. You will be responsible for the safety, maintenance, and overall performance of a physical location while building and leading a high‑performing team of specialists and leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop specialists and team leads, fostering a high‑performing talent pool.
• Manage end‑to‑end team performance, including policy accountability, performance management, and terminations.
• Resolve complex in‑person escalations and handle sensitive stakeholder situations with empathy and sound business judgment.
• Audit performance with Quality teams, identify training gaps, and execute improvement plans.
• Oversee physical location maintenance, inventory, safety (EHS), property management, and cleaning services.
• Surface ground‑level insights and customer feedback to influence regional support logic and strategic projects.
• Optimize operational processes and lead local projects to meet KPIs and enhance the earner experience.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of direct people‑management experience (or internal leadership/SME experience at Uber).
• Proven experience managing complex operations, stakeholder relationships, and P&L.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong systems‑thinking capability to translate audit data into actionable strategies.
• Resilience in high‑stakes, face‑to‑face conflict resolution with clarity and care.
