Gerente de Proyecto – Construcción de Reactor Nuclear

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design, construction and commissioning of a nuclear reactor in Argentina. The role is based on‑site and reports to the client’s senior management, ensuring the project meets scope, schedule, cost and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, cost, schedule, risk and quality.
• Lead daily execution of complex engineering and industrial works, monitoring deliverables, contractor performance and baseline schedules.
• Chair project meetings, prepare progress reports and escalate critical issues for client decision.
• Drive risk, issue and change management with proactive mitigation and structured decision‑making.
• Coordinate interfaces among engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations teams.
• Implement project controls, reporting mechanisms and governance structures.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for contractors, suppliers, regulators and client leadership.
• Support budget tracking and reporting, providing early warnings of deviations and risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory and ethical standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation and lessons‑learned application.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• At least 15 years of experience managing large‑scale infrastructure or energy projects, preferably in nuclear reactor construction.
• Strong leadership, organisational and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
