General Ledger & Reporting Accountant – LATAM Shared Service Center

About the role

Join bioMérieux’s LATAM Shared Service Center as a General Ledger & Reporting Accountant. You will support accounting and reporting for multiple countries, work with multicultural teams, and ensure financial accuracy for a global leader in in‑vitro diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Perform journal entries, accruals, provisions, and transaction processing, including fixed‑asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements and depreciation.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, and produce reports using corporate reporting tools.
• Collaborate with local entities and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting inquiries and support internal and external audit activities.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and process standardisation across the region.

Required profile

• Advanced students or graduates in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting or similar finance functions.
• Advanced English (mandatory) with the ability to participate in English‑speaking meetings.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
