Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join the Consultec team and build modern, scalable, responsive web applications. The position is fully remote and requires advanced English proficiency (C1) for frequent collaboration with international teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high‑quality user interfaces.
• Implement responsive and accessible experiences across devices and browsers.
• Integrate frontend with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Manage application state with modern state‑management solutions.
• Optimize performance, loading times, and overall user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, testable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Create automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and improve frontend standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with React and Next.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern web practices.
• Experience building reusable components and scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization flows (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary, distributed teams.
