Freelance Paid Social Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Paid Social Specialist to advise on and occasionally manage paid advertising campaigns. The role focuses on growing audiences among Persian‑American and U.S. film‑cinephile communities, using Instagram Reels and short‑form video formats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the paid Meta (Instagram/Facebook) strategy for an established creator brand and an emerging film studio.
• Advise on audience targeting, budget allocation, and creative direction with an emphasis on Reels and short‑form video.
• Launch and manage campaigns promoting films, trailers, and releases as needed.
• Monitor and report on audience growth, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.
• Provide recommendations for optimization and scaling.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience running paid Instagram/Meta campaigns for creators or entertainment brands.
• Proven track record of growing engaged creator accounts.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. film industry.
• Hands‑on experience with Instagram Reels and audience‑building techniques such as lookalikes and retargeting.
• Experience marketing to Persian‑American or U.S. film‑cinephile audiences is a plus.
