Founding Back-End Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a founding back‑end engineer to help build FieldData’s AI‑native platform that lets Latin American farmers record their activities via WhatsApp. As a core member of a fully‑remote eight‑person team, you will shape the product, architecture and user experience for thousands of daily users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop the web platform and WhatsApp agent with clean, intuitive LLM‑driven interactions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews and technical decisions.
• Contribute to product roadmap and UX for a large farmer user base.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑stack development experience in production environments.
• Strong Python development skills and solid understanding of scalable APIs.
• Experience with React or similar front‑end frameworks.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving startup and based in Argentina.
