Financial Performance Manager

About the role

JL Closets is seeking a Financial Performance Manager to lead its financial operations for a remote team based in Argentina. This senior position will shape financial strategy, improve processes, and provide actionable insights to support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Manage payroll, bank and credit‑card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping.
• Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting expectations and reviewing deliverables.
• Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial results to identify trends and support smarter decisions.
• Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year‑end processes.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, and team processes.

Required profile

• 15+ years of finance or accounting experience with proven leadership.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive mindset.
• Ability to turn financial data into actionable recommendations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Expertise in reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
