Finance Operations Assurance & Tax - Senior Analyst

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring a Senior Analyst for its Finance Operations Assurance & Tax practice. The role supports financial operations work that improves process efficiency, strengthens controls and streamlines shared services. It sits at the heart of global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services, and involves analyzing complex situations, managing workstreams, building stakeholder relationships and guiding junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze finance operations processes to find control gaps, reporting issues and improvement opportunities
• Support financial reporting, close activities and controllership tasks across internal business services
• Apply accounting practices, internal controls and record-keeping methods to validate transactional data
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, order-to-cash and fixed assets workflows for efficiency
• Interpret financial data, forecasts and variances to recommend actions to decision makers
• Use financial system administration and digital tools to improve automation, workflow consistency and data integrity
• Coordinate documentation and testing for process changes, accounting updates and reporting procedures
• Build client connections, anticipate team needs and guide junior colleagues
• Follow information security and data protection practices

Required profile

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Background in administration, finance or accounting, including stakeholder management
• Oral and written English proficiency
• Daily exposure to internal stakeholders in meetings

Required skills

• Interest in process improvement, AI tools and/or automation
• Knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls
• Ability to interpret financial data into actionable recommendations
