Finance Manager – Strategic Business Partner

About the role

Serves as the primary local financial steward and strategic advisor to the General Manager, integrating local operations with centralized Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams during a period of operational transition and business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the local integrator between site leadership and centralized finance functions, ensuring legal entity compliance and operational control.
• Oversee local financial closes, external audits, and transition‑related accounting including restructuring provisions, asset realignments, and transition costs.
• Collaborate with Corporate Treasury on FX risk management, cash‑flow forecasting, working capital and local statutory tax compliance.
• Advise local leadership on cost management, financial discipline and translation of corporate strategy to the local context.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 10+ years progressive finance and accounting experience in multinational manufacturing/industrial companies.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional decisions in a matrix environment without direct authority.
• Hands‑on experience with USD functional currency, FX/inflation management and corporate restructurings or operational transformations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Advanced ERP capabilities, preferably SAP.
