About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join our well‑established clinic in Nelson. The position offers a progressive, innovative, and flexible environment with both in‑person and virtual health options. Training in pain management is available for candidates without prior experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient base.
• Deliver pain‑management services, with training provided as needed.
• Utilize the clinic’s full Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for documentation and ordering.
• Participate in virtual health consultations for patients unable to travel.
• Collaborate with efficient staff on billing and administrative tasks performed on‑site.

Required profile

• Licensed Family Practitioner or General Practitioner eligible to practice in Canada.
• Interest in developing pain‑management expertise.
• Willingness to work in a team‑oriented, flexible clinic setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Experience or comfort with telehealth/virtual health platforms.
