About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join our well‑established clinic in Nelson. The position offers a progressive, innovative environment with flexible scheduling, full EMR support, on‑site billing, and virtual health options for patients who cannot travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient base, including pain‑management consultations.
• Utilize the clinic’s electronic medical record system for documentation and order entry.
• Participate in virtual health visits to extend care to remote or weather‑restricted patients.
• Collaborate with referral networks across surrounding areas to grow the practice.
• Engage in ongoing training for pain‑management techniques as needed.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Family Practitioner or General Practitioner.
• Interest in pain management; willingness to undergo training if experience is limited.
• Strong commitment to patient‑centered care in a community setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Familiarity with virtual health platforms for remote consultations.
