External Audit - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring a Senior Associate in External Audit within its Assurance practice. The role focuses on providing independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls and other auditable information, evaluating compliance with regulations and governance and risk management processes, and issuing an auditor's report. It suits someone who wants to build client relationships, learn to lead and inspire others, and handle increasingly complex situations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
• Evaluate internal controls and governance processes to strengthen regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor audit solutions
• Analyse complex financial data and interpret risk management processes and related controls
• Lead audit teams in executing audit plans and managing project timelines
• Maintain client relationships and uphold professional and technical standards, including independence requirements
• Use a broad range of tools and methodologies to solve problems and keep learning about industry trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or in the final semester of university
• At least 2 years of experience in auditing and accounting
• Business Administration or Economics graduates must complete two accounting subjects (Financial Statements & Auditing)
• Oral and written English proficiency required
