Entry-Level Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineer

About the role

Allegro is looking for an entry‑level Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineer to support the design and development of analog and mixed‑signal integrated circuits. The role offers hands‑on experience with circuit simulation, verification and lab characterization under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, simulation and verification of basic analog circuits such as amplifiers, filters and regulators.
• Perform routine technical tasks, analysis and laboratory characterization to evaluate integrated circuits.
• Execute specific portions of larger engineering projects by following detailed instructions from team leaders.
• Document simulation results, test reports and work progress for integration into team projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; no prior professional experience required.
• Basic knowledge of circuit theory, semiconductor device physics and fundamental engineering principles.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts in analog circuit design.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and basic simulation tools such as SPICE is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
