Entry-Level Field Technical Consultant

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an Entry-Level Field Technical Consultant in Buenos Aires. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers on-site technical support for customers, including pre-sales, post-sales and service delivery support, as well as installation and configuration of standard industry servers and complex clustered environments.

Key responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to areas such as server administration, technical security management and performance management, or to a customer group with limited risk and complexity.
• Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for customers.
• Resolve routine in-scope technical incidents independently and work with team members on more complex incidents.
• Apply company solutions to meet moderately complex customer needs within your technical responsibility.
• Participate in customer expectation management as part of the escalation process.
• Build relationships with management in assigned accounts and set customer expectations within defined parameters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, business administration or a related field.
• Strong background in IT; 0 to 3 years of experience in related fields desired.
• Basic knowledge of company products and services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff and first-level management, with active listening and problem-solving skills.
